Strategic Frameworks for Business Decision-Making

Decisions rarely fail from lack of data
Most poor decisions come from skipping the step where you define what you are actually deciding. Strategic frameworks give that step a structure so it becomes repeatable, not accidental.
This course covers eight frameworks used regularly by operations leaders, department heads, and consultants. Each one is taught in the context of a specific decision type.
A framework for each kind of problem
Choosing a new vendor calls for different thinking than entering a new market or restructuring a team. You will practice matching the right tool to the right situation rather than applying one method to everything.
The course uses anonymized decision cases from Canadian businesses in construction, staffing, and financial services — not Silicon Valley startup scenarios.
Format and pace
Six self-paced modules with a total runtime of approximately four hours. Each module ends with a scored scenario exercise where you apply the framework to a described business situation.
Instructor Tomasz Vreeland provides written feedback on two exercises per participant, included in the base enrollment.
What you leave with
A personal decision-making reference sheet you build across all six modules, plus a working understanding of when not to use a framework and when intuition backed by experience is more appropriate.
Certificate of completion issued upon finishing all modules and exercises.Program outline
